Young Tall Poppy Science Awards - First Nations

The annual Young Tall Poppy Science Awards recognise and celebrate the achievements of Australian scientists.

This new award is for First Nations scientists who are making a significant impact in science AND also going out of their way to communicate their science to the broader community.
Nominations are open from 20th February to 11:55 pm SYD time, 20th April.

Why become a Young Tall Poppy?

  • - Showcase research/professional project to a national audience.

Do you qualify?

  • - Hold a PhD OR a STEM degree AND 4 years STEM industry experience.
  • - Currently working in an Australian State or Territory.
  • - Outstanding research and science communication.
  • - All sciences (including social, tech, and engineering).
